Welcome to John Betts Primary School
Founded in 1859, John Betts is a non-denominational primary school for girls and boys aged rising five to eleven. It is voluntary aided by the John Betts Foundation under the aegis of the Hammersmith and Fulham Education Authority. It is a caring community school, which offers pupil a high quality of education in a secure, happy and stimulating environment. We have a proven track record based on hard work and professionalism but we are, of course, always striving to improve the quality of the education and the educational opportunities we are able to offer our pupils. We have a team of highly dedicated, professional and skilled staff, supportive governors and an active Parent Teacher Association. Through equality of opportunity we provide a broad and balanced curriculum, which is designed to meet the individual needs of every child. Each child is encouraged to become an independent learner and accept responsibility for her/his own actions. We aim to develop in our children positive attitudes towards school life and their role in the wider community.
