Working Creatively Shield

 

We use bespoke assessment shields to help children learn. Children understand what disciplinary knowledge is required for each subject area, they identify what knowledge they will be using in each individual lesson and, in addition, they learn to revisit their learning by using the shields as a guide. We thought it would be a great idea if you joined in and had access to them so that you can understand them a little better. Please talk to your children about the shields and see if they can remember when they have used them during the week or in previous learning. Also speak about what professions use this specific knowledge.
